To assure a safe care environment to all our patients who are vulnerable and high-risk, DGD must continue to enforce all safety measures possible to keep our patients safe and healthy. DGD will continue to practice proven methods for controlling the spread of COVID-19, including universal masking, screening of all staff, patients, and visitors, as well as practicing safe social distancing, as has been our policy for months.
We want to assure you those processes will not change with Governor Abbott’s lifting of the state mask mandate, which takes effect on Wednesday, March 10.
DGD will require all patients, staff, and visitors to be screened upon entry as well as wear a mask while inside the building.
