POSITION TITLE: Endocrinologist
HOURS: 40 hours per week
RATE OF PAY: At least $148,366 per year

As an Endocrinologist, work in the DGD Clinic, meeting with patients, testing them for such conditions as thyroid disease, diabetes, and hormonal imbalances, and assigns the proper course of treatment; Inquire about current symptoms and reasons for doctors visit; Conduct exams and tests to determine likelihood of endocrine gland related issues; Analyze lab results and presentation of symptoms to arrive at conclusive diagnosis; Devise and assigns proper course of treatment; Advise surgery when necessary; Work with other specialized physicians to treat and cure certain conditions, such as glandular tumors; Write and renews prescriptions for medications; Log all patient visits and medical information and maintain patient records; Follow up with patient to track condition; Provide advice for patients regarding the daily management of their diseases or conditions.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or foreign equivalent
- Completed a medical residency program in internal medicine
- 36 months of experience as a hospital physician treating patients with thyroid disease, diabetes, and hormonal imbalances
- Certification as a Diplomate in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
